ZIV IEC 61850 edition 2 certified protection and control relays

ZIV obtains the IEC 61850 Edition 2 Certificate for the ZIV e-NET Flex substation protection and control platform

After performing during last July’18 the certification with DNV-GL (formerly KEMA), ZIV already has the IEC 61850 Edition 2 Certificate Level A as server for his new protection, control and measurement ZIV e-NET Flex Platform.

This Certificate complements the Edition 1 Certificate which was obtained last November’17 for the same family of relays (IRF IED in that case).

The type of certification carried out has been a multivariant type one, which has included the following IEDs of the ZIV e-NET Flex Platform:

IRF: Multifunction Feeder protection & control.
ZLF: Distance protection & control.
IDF: Transformer diferential protection & control.

ZIV e-NET flex platform: Cybersecure, adaptable and modular protections for the digital substation.

ZLF – Distance Protection
DLF – Line Differential Protection
BCF – Capacitor Bank Protection
RTF – Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR)
