This year, CEM is once again joining experts from industry, national metrology institutes and universities to celebrate European Industry Week by offering an online session (webinar) about the role that metrology plays and the challenges that must addressed to achieve an effective digital transformation of society, and of industry in particular.

Metrology, a cross-disciplinary science, is present in all of our activities and technological developments, thus it is a fundamental tool for the achievement of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Metrology is a determining factor in the digital transformation of society and industry. Without correct and reliable measurements, effective and safe digitization would not be possible.

In this webinar we want to show some examples of how metrology can help to meet the objectives of the development of a digital, sustainable and clean industry. Case studies will also be shown and discussed.
